First aid is the immediate, and temporary treatments performed on a person who has experienced a medical crisis or a sudden accident that call for immediate care before the arrival of paramedics

  • Observing signs and symptoms that accompany small and minor accidents to know how to deal with them and avoid any complications.
  • In the case of bleeding, you must try to stop the bleeding as well as know how to spot internal bleeding.
  • You must be aware of the patient’s medical case as well as information related to his or her medical history.
  • Knowing how to treat all kinds of fractures and burns.
  • Knowing how to properly massage the chest and heart areas.
  • Knowing how to correctly bandage wounds without contaminations or infections. 
  • Removing the patient from any sources of danger.

First Aid Importance

First Aid is essential for the safety of the patient to increase the chances of survival and eliminating any potential dangers. You must be aware of the following:

  • The correct way and speed of rescuing the patient.  
  • Knowing the basics of First Aid.
  • Knowing how to treat the patient and helping him or her limit the feeling of pain caused by different injuries.
